Lemanski v. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation

The case concerned the widening of South Bridge street in Auburn. It affected a popular restaurant in the area. The plaintiff presented evidence that the restaurant would need to be remodeled. The defendant presented evidence that the property was not damaged at all. Ultimately, the jury awarded $180,000 in favor of the landowner.
